Latticini Freschi” translates to “fresh dairy” in Italian
But in not so literal terms it really refers to a cheese shop where fresh mozzarella, among others, are made fresh daily. The making of fresh mozzarella is yet another tradition that has been passed down among the Carlino families. For a few hours every day, there is the smell of milk and steam in the store that drifts around the dry sausages hanging over the showcases. The aroma is warm and inviting. And it’s yet another reason why T&F is always busy.
